Our academic advisors are here to help you.

From the point of admission, the Arts Academic Advising team can provide programs and services to help you make informed and thoughtful decisions about your academic path throughout your degree.

In addition, there is also dedicated support available to all students in the Interdisciplinary Studies (IDST) program in understanding requirements and planning for success in the program.

Jazmin Ysmael

Jazmin Ysmael, our Student Program Coordinator, is available for appointments both in-person and online. She offers support with understanding program requirements, navigating policies and procedures, incorporating transfer credits into your program, and discussing program options and plans. She also offers drop-in advising on:

  • Time: Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Location: IBLC 373, 1961 East Mall

Dr. Clayton Ashton

Dr. Clayton Ashton, our Program Chair, is available for appointments online. He offers support for all enquiries regarding the thematic study option.
