We are excited to host a workshop series this term with Robyn Stalkie, the Arts Career Strategist.
This first part of the series will focus on self-reflection and making connections between knowing ourselves and knowing our work (in IDST and in our future career). We will tackle questions like: what aspects of your identity, your interests, your experience do you want to showcase, how will you adjust your story based on your audience, and how do your themes/disciplines inform your next steps? Come with any questions you may have about how to use your IDST degree for post-graduation plans.
Meet Robyn Stalkie
As the Arts Career Strategist, Robyn’s focus is on supporting Arts students to make connections between their time at UBC and the many career possibilities that lay ahead. She provides custom reflective and exploratory experiences through in-class workshops, 1-1 advising, and career programming through The Arts Compass.
